Winnipeg Indigenous man acquitted of 1973 murder

In Winnipeg, an Indigenous man sent to prison 50 years ago has finally won his case. Clarence Woodhouse always maintained his innocence and on Thursday, Manitoba’s chief justice acquitted him of a decades-old murder and apologized for the many failures that led to the 72-year-old’s wrongful conviction.
