U.S. President Donald Trump fired a shot across the bow with a warning to rivals and allies alike. Trump, who has largely gone after Canada, Mexico and China, now says he’s targeting everyone. Trump now appears to be going after sales taxes like the GST or Europe’s Value Added Tax (VAT). Even though his tariff threat is now global, his obsession with Canada continues.
