Trudeau met with Canada’s premiers in Ottawa to discuss the threat of tariffs from Trump before he takes office for a second non-consecutive term on Jan. 20. Trump has threatened to impose a sweeping 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods coming into the United States unless Canada tightens border security.
