“What the heck is going on?”: Why this BC community put a fence along its border with the US
A new cross-border fence has sparked controversy along a small part of the world’s longest undefended border. A chain link fence was erected along the western side of Point Roberts on the Canadian side of the border. The City of Delta said it put up the fence after a Tsawwassen senior crossed over into Point Roberts and was later found dead. But as Jennifer Palma reports, locals feel they were left blindsided by the change.
