BC homicide suspect confessed to 2 killings weeks before arrest, court documents show
A Creston, B.C. man on trial for second degree murder told doctors he killed the victim and another person weeks before he was arrested, according to court documents. Mitchell Earl McIntyre is charged in the death of Julia Howe on Feb. 6, 2022. After winding up in hospital, McIntyre told staff he had killed Howe, his landlord's girlfriend, and another man in Kimberley. As Aaron McArthur reports, the case is raising concerns about the resources dedicated to criminal investigations in rural parts of the province.
