With the U.S. election in its final stretch, most polls show Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are tied. In some key states, though, Harris appears to have an advantage — and has women on her side. Global’s Jackson Proskow reports from Washington, D.C. on the final days in the fight for the White House. Whomever leads the U.S. next will play a huge role in determining abortion policy in America. Global’s Neetu Garcha is in Maryland, Balt., one of 10 states with reproduction rights on the ballot. She speaks with voters directly affected by this issue. This election is unlike any other in terms of security. The most basic right — the right to vote — is being protected by panic buttons and bulletproof glass. The head of the National Association of Election Officials sat down with Global News to discuss the measures being taken to ensure this election is free and fair. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking down to a port labour disruption that could have ripple effects across the country.
